How To Book A Court

ready to play?

Grab your mates, lock in a court, and game on! Book by the hour and play when it suits you, just hit BOOK NOW, or download PLAYTOMICon the app store, to see what’s available.

Flying solo? Start an open match on PLAYTOMIC and jump in with other players. It’s the easiest way to meet new people and keep the rallies going.

You will get an access code to the premise on your PLAYTOMIC booking confirmation.

We’re open 7 days a week, from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. (Exact times may vary during special events.) Book in early for a morning session or finish the day with a late-night match under the lights.
You’ll find us at 3 Traders Lane, Cromwell. Conveniently located just off McNulty Road. Easy to get to, hard to leave! If you get lost, pop JUNCTION HEALTH MEDICAL CENTRE in your GPS, you’ll find us from there!
We’ve got free on-site parking for players and guests. If we’re busy, there’s plenty of street parking nearby too. Arrive a few minutes early so you can park, chill, and warm up.
Bookings can be made easily through the PLAYTOMIC app (download from the App Store) or our website. https://playtomic.com/clubs/central-padel-nz
Once your booking is confirmed via PLAYTOMIC, you’ll receive a PIN via the PLAYTOMIC app or email for entry.
Not at all! More players, more energy, more Padel! Central Padel is all about opening the game up to everyone. No memberships, no fuss, just pay-to-play and get on court.
Court hire is just $60 per hour, ($15pp when played in doubles) and it’s super easy to split the cost on the PLAYTOMIC app. No awkward payment chats needed. We keep things simple: no peak-hour pricing, no hidden fees, just great Padel whenever you want to play.
Absolutely. We’ve got you covered with rackets for hire. Everything else you need to keep your game sharp (and your thirst quenched) is right there for purchase from our trusty vending machine. Balls, Grips, Refreshments. You can also purchase Babolat rackets on-site (by arrangement) or order online. Because if you’re going to smash winners, you might as well do it in style.

Whether you’re brand new to the game or chasing that next level, our coaching sessions with Coach Aleix will have you serving, smashing, and smiling like a pro in no time. We run regular coaching sessions, keep an eye on our socials and Playtomic for details

Mini players, big energy. We have kids coaching sessions available when we host coaching days.
Our Junior Padel sessions are designed to get kids moving, learning, and loving the game from day one. Expect fun, fast-paced sessions that build confidence, coordination, and teamwork. All while having an absolute blast on court. Whether they’re the next Padel prodigy or just want to try something new, we’ll make sure they leave smiling (and probably a bit sweaty).
We host regular Americanos, for all skill levels. They’re a great way to meet players and enjoy some friendly competition. Book under the competitions tab in Playtomic. You can also join Open Matches in Playtomic, based on your skill level, under the OPEN MATCHES tab.
Looking to round up a doubles team or find other players to join your games? No worries, there are plenty of ways to get on court and meet fellow Padel enthusiasts. Like many clubs in Aotearoa, we use the Playtomic app to make connecting easy.
On Playtomic you can:
- Join an Open Match, browse games already set up at our club and jump in if the time and level suit you.
- Create your own Open Match. Make it an open game, set the level and type of match, and other players can join straight from the app.
It’s a great way to meet new people, fill your games, and build your Padel network.
You will be also be able to chat with these players before the game via the online chat.
We also have a community WhatsApp group, where you can open a match and post the link to the group to see who wants to join. JOIN HERE
Not just yet, BUT IT’S COMING SOON!!!. In the meantime, we’ve got plenty of seating and chill-out spots where you can relax before or after a match, catch up with mates, or just soak up the atmosphere. So bring your crew, grab a drink from the vending machine, and enjoy the social side of Padel.
We’ve got an accessible bathroom with plenty of space to get changed comfortably. We’re all about making sure you can hit the court ready to play.
Plans change, we get it. You can cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your booking for free through Playtomic on the app or desktop. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a full charge, so make sure you give yourself (or your mates) enough notice!

Absolutely! We can organize your work do, accommodate large groups, and provide catering by partnering with local food trucks and mobile bars. Just give us plenty of notice, and we’ll help make your event a smash hit. Flick us a message at play@centralpadel.co.nz
Only got one mate to play with?
No worries! While Padel is usually doubles, singles is a whole new challenge, you’ll be covering twice the court and getting a serious workout. You can even try cross-court singles for a fast, tricky twist. Just remember: the court hire is still for a full court, so you’ll be splitting it between two players instead of four. Sweat, laughs, and skills boosted, all worth it!
